Day 2 – HT2

Day 2 – 30th January 2017

Slept quite well last night, only woke up a few times. Some itchiness has started on the donor and recipient areas which is good as it means everything is healing. Only bad part is that sometimes you’ll wake in the middle of the night and have to quickly stop yourself from scratching!

Today I got to take the donor bandage off and I’m really pleased with how it’s looking, very clean. I’ll be able to wash my head tomorrow so it’ll look even better then.

Still spraying the recipient area with the saline solution every 30 minutes, but now I’m also applying some cream to the donor area twice a day.

So far so good, not in any pain or discomfort, and only minimal swelling.

  1. Hi Ryan, Looks great, minimal redness and site is very clean. Glad to hear discomfort is minor and I hope the rest of the week is as smooth running.

Recipient site looks fantastic, can’t wait for the next few months.

    Kind regards

    Paul
