ONE YEAR POST HAIR RESTORATION – May 1st 2016
What a year! Can’t believe on this day, one year ago, I was at Day One Post HT and starting my journey to a better head of hair (and more confidence!).
It’s been a crazy 12 months full of ups and downs, but the ups have well and truly out numbered the down days that’s for sure. At this point in time I’m feeling really good about my decision to have this done, and no-one really suspects anything at all due to how natural it looks. Seeing as I have had my hair very short for so long, they all just think that I’ve grown it out.
Obviously it isn’t as dense as I would like it, and in the midday sun it doesn’t look as good as it does in the photos below, so I’ve decided to head back over to Europe in the future for a 2nd procedure where we’ll focus on the crown and behind the hairline. It’s good now, but it’ll be great after that 🙂
Right now I’m not using anything apart from the Caffeine Shampoo, which I’m not sure does anything to be honest. So no Rogaine, no Biotin, no Propecia etc. I might actually go back on Biotin soon though.
Now that I’ve reached the 12 month mark, blog posts won’t be as consistent anymore, but be sure to follow me on Instagram where I’ll keep adding photos from time to time @hairtransplantdiary
I’ll probably check back in here again in a couple months time to let you know where I’m at though.
Thank you all for joining me on this Journey. From the messages I receive I know that the Blog has been a great help to you, and I hope I’ve helped you by answering the questions you send me through.
Check out the photos below and let me know what you think.
See you soon, and thanks DHI for this life changing procedure. Feels so good to be able to wear my hair longer again!

Good luck with your second procedure and thanks for creating this blog, it’s been great to follow someone else’s journey, I’m at the 5 month mark myself and this has really helped me get a better understanding of it all.
